Berndorf indoor school
The Hall School Bernsdorf stands at Kislingerplatz 5 in the borough Bernsdorf in the district of Baden in Lower Austria . The school building is under monument protection ( list entry ).
history
The former elementary school and later grammar school now serves as a music and special school. The school building was built in 1896 according to plans by the architect Ludwig Baumann .
architecture
The ten-axis neo-baroque main facade has cornered tower-like side projections . The side projections originally had onion roofs. The facade shows bands on the ground floor and accented windows on the upper floor.
The two-storey school building now includes a covered inner courtyard as a gym with surrounding break aisles.
