Hammer mill (Döllnitz)

Hammermühle is a desert in the area of ​​today's market town Kasendorf .

The mill was a good 100 meters east of the confluence of the Friesenbach and Aubach rivers . It was part of the former municipality of Döllnitz in the district office of Kulmbach .

The hammer mill, in which iron ore was crushed in a stamping mill , existed for over 600 years. In 1914 the property was sold and the buildings demolished.
