Handel Mazzetti Prize
The Handel-Mazzetti-Preis , also known as the Enrica-Handel-Mazzetti-Preis, is a literary award that was established in 1951 by the Province of Upper Austria . The name giver for the award was the writer Enrica von Handel-Mazzetti , who was working in Linz at the time .
The literary prize was awarded for novels and short stories "in which the historically credible picture of a personality or an epoch in the history of Austria is presented".
