Commercial weight surcharge

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The commercial weight surcharge is a legally defined percentage of the moisture content of textile fibers that is customary in the trade , which serves as the basis for determining the weight. The commercial weight surcharge is also known as the moisture surcharge. The commercial weight surcharges for the individual fiber materials are specified in the Textile Labeling Act (TKG) and international standards. For wool this is z. B. 18.25% (weight percent allowable moisture content). Is the fiber material drier than here z. B. the 18.25%, the actual humidity is determined with the help of the conditioning process. The price basis is then not the measured net weight, but the calculated conditioning weight extrapolated to the commercial weight surcharge. In the case of fiber blends , their commercial weight surcharge is calculated proportionally.
