Hand washing paste
Hand washing paste is a pasty mass for hand cleaning. It is mainly used in industry to clean the hands of coarse dirt such as oil , paint or soot .
nature
Hand washing paste consists of
- Surfactants
- fat
- Wood flour or sand (with newer products skin-friendly substances such as corn flour )
- Fragrances , e.g. B. lemon oil
The mass also contains moisture and has a corresponding pH value . Further additions are listed in the instruction leaflet. If the moisture evaporates, the dry product cannot be used. This can be remedied by adding water.
Instead of the skin-friendly wood flour, sometimes also fine sand is used, with which the dirt is sanded from the skin . The sand gives the hand washing paste its typical appearance in terms of color and structure. That is why hand washing paste is also called sand soap .
Newer products are made with corn flour. It works more effectively than sand and also cleans the hands much more gently.
Hand washing paste is available in tubes , jars and jars , and for bulk consumption also in dispensers and buckets .
use
Hand washing paste is used to remove particularly stubborn dirt from the hands as gently as possible. Usually it is given in small amounts on the hand and mixed with a little water to form a paste. This is used to thoroughly rub and scrub the skin. The paste can also be used on other areas of the skin , but hand washing pastes can be irritating to mucous membranes .
Hand washing pastes are now also mixed with nourishing ingredients. This cleans the hands gently and no additional care is required after washing.
