Hank Zipzer is an English children's comedy series that was produced in England and the United States. The title role is played by Nick James as Hank Zipzer, a 12-year-old dyslexic student. The show is based on the book series by Henry Winkler, who plays the role of Hank's music teacher, Mr. Rock, in the series. The first season started in January 2014 on CBBC. In contrast to the books, which are set in Winkler's home country, the USA, the series is set in London. The second season started in August 2015. The third season started in May 2016, there was also an 84-minute Christmas episode in 2016. In April 2017, Neil Fitzmaurice, who plays Hank's father Stan, confirmed that the series would not continue.
