Live and act

She was musically influenced in many ways early on and after returning from the USA she used every opportunity to improve her jazz interpretation. The pianist Gabriel Jonáš and then other musicians invited them.

She also performed with Stefan "Pišta" Bartus and Nikolaj Nikitin ; she can also be heard on Sisa Michalidesová's album Expressions . In 2013 she toured with Chris Byars' band in Slovakia, the following year with Rodney Kendrick in South Africa and with Eric Wyatt in Eastern Europe.

Gregušová has released two further albums under her name, Essence (2014), which has Slovak song material as the starting point, and Twin Flame (2017), where she vocalized mainly instrumental titles of well-known jazz pianists and provided them with her own lyrics. She now lives in New York City, where she performs with Anthony Wonsey and Lonnie Plaxico , but also in the quintet of Taru Alexander .

Gregušová has won several jazz awards; Among other things, she was named “Jazz Musician of the Year” in Slovakia in 2017 (as the second woman to ever receive this recognition). Her last two albums were nominated for the Radio Head Awards by Rádio FM ; Cassandra Wilson rated her as the best next generation singer.
