Hannover United is a German wheelchair basketball club based in Hanover .

Hannover United eV emerged from a syndicate. In 2006 the game community SG Oldenburg-Sünteltal was founded from the clubs BSV Sünteltal Bad Münder am Deister eV and RSC Oldenburg eV. The team started in the Regionalliga Nord.

In 2008 the SG Oldenburg-Sünteltal became champions in the Regionalliga Nord and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga North.

In 2011 the syndicate was renamed "Hannover United" after promotion to the 1st Bundesliga. The club was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2012. The independent association "Hannover United eV" was founded on September 13, 2012

In 2013 he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga, followed by relegation in 2014. In 2015 Hannover managed to return to the 1st Bundesliga immediately, which was followed by relegation in 2016. In 2017, the "Füchse" rose again to the 1st Bundesliga and for the first time managed to stay in the league for the first time in the 2017/2018 season. In the same year United also surprisingly made it into the cup final. Although they were clearly defeated by RSV Lahn-Dill in Wetzlar with 35:74, in the end there was the greatest success so far in the club's young history. Hannover United plays its home games in the IGS sports hall in the Stöcken district.
