Hans-Gerd Klein

Hans-Gerd Klein (born March 28, 1958 in Leverkusen ) is a former German hurdler who specialized in the 110-meter distance .

In 1980 the Olympic boycott of the Federal Republic prevented participation in the Olympic Games in Moscow . At the alternatively held Liberty Bell Classic , he won bronze. At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1981 in Grenoble, he was sixth in the 50 m hurdles. In 1980 and 1982 he was German runner-up. In 1980 he was runner-up over the 60 m hurdles in the hall. From 1977 to 1981 Klein competed in ten national jersey competitions.

During his active career, Hans-Gerd Klein started for the LG Bayer Leverkusen .

Hans-Gerd Klein is a civil engineer and has been the managing director and owner of Stahl- und Metallbau Hans-Gerd Klein GmbH with headquarters in Langenfeld and a branch in Nümbrecht since 1992
