Hans-Gerhard Fritz

Hans-Gerhard Fritz (born June 11, 1939 ; † July 17, 2015 in Uhingen ) was a German plastics technician .

From 1979 to 2006 he headed the Institute for Plastics Technology and then until 2010 Institute for Plastics Technology (IKT) at the University of Stuttgart . His main research interests were plastics processing, their modeling and simulation as well as bio-based plastics . Fritz was one of the founders of the Polymer Processing Society and its President from 1989-1991.
