Hans-Jakob Schädler (born October 30, 1945 ) is a former Liechtenstein judoka .

Career

Schadler competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich , where he finished 19th in the light heavyweight division. In 1973 he was a founding member of the Sakura Schaanwald judo club and has been president of the club since then. At the 1976 Summer Games in Montreal , he competed in the heavyweight division and in the open class. In the heavyweight division he finished 17th and in the open class 19th. In addition to the two Olympic participations, there are a total of five titles at the Swiss championships.

After his career, he worked as the national coach of the Liechtenstein Judokas and took part in the Olympic Games five times with them. Today he still trains children, teenagers and adults at the judo club Sakura Schaanwald and is now the grandfather of three children.
