Hans Blume (football player, 1887)
Henri Johan "Hans" Blume (born November 16, 1887 in the Dutch East Indies , † January 5, 1978 in Melbourne , Australia ) was a Dutch national football player.
During the pioneering days of football, Blume was part of the Quick Nijmegen squad . At the club, he also made the leap to the Dutch national team . He was on the pitch at the first meeting of the Netherlands against England's amateurs on April 1, 1907 in The Hague and after about a quarter of an hour he scored the 1: 2 tie for the Dutch. The game ended 1: 8.
This mission remains Blum's only international match in his career. He later emigrated to Thailand , and finally to Australia .
