Hans Günter Fessel

Hans Günter Fessel (born April 16, 1927 in Berlin ; † March 10, 1995 in Neuss ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Fessel attended elementary school and high school. In 1943, during the Second World War , he received special electrical training as an air force helper . In the last year of the war he became a mountain hunter and was taken prisoner after the war. In 1946 Fessel worked as an unskilled worker and in 1947 as a laboratory technician. From 1947 he worked at the Max Planck Institute for Aeronomy in Lindau / Harz. In an evening course he took the subjects electrical engineering and trade. In 1950 he finished his technical studies in 1953 he became an engineer. Since 1960 Fessel has worked as a group leader in measuring device development.

Fessel was elected a member of the Lindau council. He became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament for the fifth to seventh electoral term from June 27, 1964 to June 20, 1974. During his time as a member of parliament, he was chairman of the special committee for questions of civil service law from March 21, 1966 to June 5, 1967.
