Hans Georg Krauthäuser

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hans Georg Krauthäuser (born February 6, 1965 in Cologne ) is a German physicist .

Life

Krauthhäuser studied physics at the University of Cologne from 1984 and completed his studies in 1992 with a diploma thesis on the subject of determining particle size distributions in mesoscopic systems using X-ray small-angle scattering . His dissertation, which he completed in 1996 at the University of Cologne, dealt with the topic of analyzing inverse problems: the structure-interference method and its application to small-angle scattering . Krauthäuser worked until 2008 as a scientific assistant or later as a senior assistant at the Institute for Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg , where he completed his habilitation in 2007 on the subject of the fundamentals and applications of fashion swirl chambers .

Since 2008, Krauthäuser has been Professor of Theoretical Electrical Engineering and Electromagnetic Compatibility at the Technical University of Dresden . At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at TU Dresden, he was also the Dean of Studies for the field of electrical engineering from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2020 he was Vice-Rector for Education and International Affairs on the University's Rectorate. Krauthhäuser researches and publishes, among other things, on fashion swirl chambers ; The TU Dresden has had such a large research device since 2010.
