Hans-Georg Waldhelm
Hans-Georg Waldhelm (* 1950 ) is a German canoeist .
He started for SC Magdeburg . In 1969 he became European champion in the two-man kayak over 500 meters. Later he was involved in the dragon boat master class and became world champion in 2007 and European champion in 2008. In addition, he achieved various other medal places.
In 2008 Waldhelm was allowed to enter the Golden Book of the City of Magdeburg in recognition of his sporting success as world champion in the Dragon Boat Masterclass .
