Hans Kaiser (politician, 1926)

Hans Kaiser (born July 15, 1926 in Grünbach am Schneeberg ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and trade unionist. From 1964 to 1985 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

After primary school, Kaiser completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter and was drafted into the Reich Labor Service in 1942. He served between 1943 and 1945 in World War II and worked as a miner after the war. In 1947 he joined the Semperit company and in 1960 rose to the position of chairman of the central works council. In 1962 Kaiser took over the role of regional chairman of the chemical workers' union.

He represented the SPÖ from November 19, 1964 to January 15, 1985 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
