Hans Lehnert (politician, 1941)

Hans Lehnert (born October 21, 1941 in Wuppertal ) is a German politician (SPD).

Lehnert completed his Abitur at a Berlin high school and then studied economics and social sciences at the universities in Berlin and Bonn. From 1967 he worked as a union secretary, initially at the OTV union and later at the education and science union. From 1975 he was a member of the DGB regional board in Lower Saxony. Lehnert joined the SPD in 1961 and has held various honorary functions since then. He was also a member of the Laatzen local council from 1981 to 1986 and was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in the eleventh electoral term.
