Hans Niklas (basketball player)

Hans Niklas is a former German basketball player .

Life

Niklas was part of the USC Munich team (or the BC / USC Munich syndicate) in the basketball league in the 1970s . With the Munich team, he competed in the European club competition Korać Cup in 1974/75 .

In 1976 the winger moved to USC Heidelberg , with whom he became German champions in the 1976/77 season. In 1977 he played his first and only A international match for the German national team. In the 1977/78 season he won the DBB Cup with the USC and came second in the Bundesliga. In 1980 he was relegated from the Bundesliga with Heidelberg and then played with the team in the 2nd basketball division . In 1981 he retired from competitive basketball.
