Hans Reich (bank manager)

Hans W. Reich (born February 25, 1941 in Breslau , Silesia ) is a German bank manager. He is married and has one child.

From 1957 to 1960 he did a banking apprenticeship at Dresdner Bank AG in Gelsenkirchen . Between 1963 and 1965 he completed an apprenticeship as a banking specialist at the Bankakademie e. V. Wiesbaden / Dortmund.

Life

From 1961 to 1966, Reich worked in the credit secretariat of Dresdner Bank. In 1966 he joined the export credit department at KfW . In 1971 he became sub-department head and in 1978 department head in export finance and in 1980 department director. In 1987 Reich became head of the special export finance department and in 1988 deputy director. From 1989 he was director of KfW and from 1990 a member of the board of management of KfW. From October 1, 1999 until his retirement on September 11, 2006, Reich was spokesman for the KfW Executive Board. His successor was Ingrid Matthäus-Maier .
