Hans Weber (born July 30, 1937 ) is a German soccer player who played for Kickers Offenbach and SV Darmstadt 98 during his active time .

career

Weber's career began as a ten-year-old at SC Hassia Dieburg. Weber made his debut in the first team at the age of 16, then played for the club on the offensive for five years, as a center forward or left winger. When Weber was 21, Georg Kämmerer, former Hassia trainer and ex-middle runner of the Offenbacher Kickers recruited him to the OFC.

At OFC he played in the Oberliga , Germany's top division, from 1959 and immediately managed to establish himself in the first team. He was not a professional footballer despite big games and big opponents (such as a playoff against Westfalia Herne in front of 80,000 spectators in Hanover and the decisive goal in the 1-0 win in 1959 against FC Bayern Munich ).

In 1962 he moved to Darmstadt 98 because the then President of Lilien offered the prospective math and chemistry teacher a position at the Georg Büchner School in Darmstadt. In 1967 Weber returned to SC Hassia Dieburg, where his brother Jupp was chairman at the time.

Others

After his active career as a player, Weber was, in addition to his work as a teacher, also first team and youth coach and first chairman of SC Hassia Dieburg.
