Hans Weisbrod (entrepreneur)

Hans Weisbrod (born May 7, 1902 in Weinheim ; † unknown) was a German rubber goods manufacturer.

Career

Weisbrod was born as the son of the Weinheim factory owner Karl Friedrich Weisbrod and Hertha Wehn. He studied at the Technical University of Braunschweig . In the summer semester of 1923 he became a member of the Corps Teutonia-Hercynia . After the death of his father in February 1934, he took over the management of Weinheimer Gummiwarenfabrik Weisbrod & Seifert together with brother-in-law Hans Freyberg . The company expanded considerably as a result. In 1950 a branch was built in Viernheim, and the Rex rubber goods factory in Pfungstadt was taken over.

Honors

  • 1967: Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany
  • The Corps Teutonia-Hercynia Braunschweig appointed him an honorary boy.
