Hans Zürn the Younger (* around 1585 in Waldsee (?); † after 1624 in Buchhorn ) was a German sculptor .

Live and act

Hans Zürn the Younger came from the famous Upper Swabian artist and sculptor family Zürn . His father was Hans Zürn the elder . From 1613 to 1622 he worked as a master in Buchhorn.

Possibly he is identical with the master Hans from Waldsee.

His most important works include the figures and reliefs of a Marian altar and the rosary medallions in Wangen im Allgäu , a Pieta in the parish church of Deuchelried and a Madonna in Kisslegg . He also created a votive tablet donated by Pastor Urban Lidel in the Holy Cross Chapel in Brochenzell ( Meckenbeuren ) in 1622 .
