Hansa Theater Hörde
The Hansa Theater Hörde is a theater in the Hörde district of Dortmund .
The term Hansa Theater primarily refers to a boulevard theater ensemble under the direction of the singer Rudi Strothmüller and the director Jost Krüger, as well as the premises required for the theater.
history
The first theater of the ensemble was the Hansastraße theater , also known as the Hansatheater . This was a former Ufa cinema on Hansastraße in downtown Dortmund, which was converted into a theater by the set designer Michael Wienand in the mid-1990s . It had red cinema seating with around 400 seats. The ensemble was based there under the direction of Rudi Strothmüller and Jost Krüger. Mainly music revues were offered (including MyWay , The Blue Eyes, etc.). However, there were also guest performances by other artists. However, the theater was closed, rebuilt and reopened as a domicil jazz club.
The ensemble remained and the appearances in the following years were exclusively guest performances. From 2005, however, the plans for the opening of a new home theater for the Hansa-Theater Ensemble in Hörde on Eckardtstrasse, the "Hansa Theater Hörde", began. The premises of the former work and meeting center will be converted into a theater. The opening was planned for the end of 2006, but had to be postponed and took place on March 10, 2007. The new venue also alternates its own productions, still with a focus on musical revues, and guest performances ( Johnny Cash Revue , Janis Joplin Show , Udo Jürgens Merci, Joe Cocker Story, Musical Shows Grenzenlos etc.). Guests were u. a. Anne Simmering, Kammersänger Andreas Bäcker, Jochen Kilian, Michael Frowin, Katja Ebstein and other music and cabaret artists.
