The Mount Meron ( Hebrew הר מירון Har Meron ; Arabic جبل الجرمق Jebel al-Jarmaq ) lies in Israel 1208  m above sea level. It is the highest mountain within the internationally recognized borders of the state. The Meron is Israel's second highest mountain if you include the Golan Heights , some of whichincludethe Har Hermon .
