Harakiri is the third studio album by Serj Tankian . It was released on July 10, 2012 by Reprise Records .

Emergence

Harakiri is the first of four albums planned in the near future, as he announced on his website. It was recorded at Serjical Strike Studios in Los Angeles in 2011/12 . The album deals, among other things, with the idea of suicide in animals. Tankian described the album as the fastest punk rock record he had written since the System of a Down days . A tour has been announced for 2013.
