Harald Wilhelm (born April 23, 1966 in Munich ) is a German manager and member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG .

education

Harald Wilhelm completed a degree in business administration at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, which he graduated in 1991 with a degree in business administration.

Career

In the same year he joined Deutsche Aerospace AG as a business employee in the finance / controlling department. From 1992 to 1994 Wilhelm was Manager for Mergers & Acquisitions M&A at Daimler-Benz Aerospace and from 1995 to 1997 Senior Manager of the same area. From January 1998 until the end of 1999 he was Vice President Mergers & Acquisitions at DaimlerChrysler Aerospace . In January 2000 he switched to Airbus . There he was initially Vice President Accounting, Tax and Financial Services and in 2003 Senior Vice President Financial Control of the Commercial Aircraft division . From January 2007 he was Chief Controlling Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and from February 2008 CFO of this area. From June 2012 he also became CFO of the entire group and in this role a member of the Airbus Management Board. On April 1, 2019, he was appointed to the Board of Management of Daimler AG, initially without being assigned to any department.
