Bodo Uebber (born August 18, 1959 in Solingen ) is a German manager . From 2003 to 2019 he was a member of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler AG and Daimler AG .

education

Uebber studied industrial engineering at what was then the University of Karlsruhe, which is now part of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology , and graduated in 1985 with a diploma .

Career

After completing his studies, he started in controlling at Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm GmbH (MBB) in Stuttgart. In 1988 Uebber became Head of Cost and Profitability Accounting in the Defense Technology division in Stuttgart. From 1992 he was head of controlling at Dornier Luftfahrt GmbH in Oberpfaffenhofen and in 1995 he took over the management of controlling space / defense and civil systems at DASA AG in Ottobrunn. In 2001 he moved to Berlin as a member of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler Services AG .
