HarbisonWalker International is an American manufacturer of refractories based in the greater Pittsburgh area .

Harbison-Walker Refractories was bought by Dresser Industries (now Halliburton ) in 1967 . In 2002, the company, which was taken over by RHI AG in 2000 , filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy due to asbestos lawsuits . In 2007, the reorganization resulted in ANH International , which in 2015 again took on the traditional name HarbisonWalker .
