Haret Hreik
Haret Hreik ( Arabic : حارة حريك) is a suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut and is located south of the city, northeast of the international Rafik Hariri Airport .
In the 2006 Lebanon War Haret Hreik was particularly affected heavily by Israeli air strikes since there the headquarters of Hezbollah was. The place is considered a stronghold of Hezbollah and was completely restored after the bombings. The private cultural organization Umam Documentation & Research , which has set itself the task of documenting the modern history of Lebanon, is located in Haret Hreik .
