Silberg is a district of the city of Schmallenberg in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The district is located around 7 km northwest of Schmallenberg. Neighboring places are Keppel , Herschede , Arpe and Oberlandenbeck . The Silbecke stream rises around 500 meters south of Silberg.

The figurines "Joannes Hardebusch" in Niederberndorf was sold, according to the Hessian cadastral register of 1807 to a family Schörmann in Niederberndorf. For this, the Hardebusch acquired most of the Gerwe's properties on the Silberg in order to settle there around 1902.

Until the municipal reorganization in North Rhine-Westphalia, Silberg belonged to the municipality of Berghausen . Since January 1st, 1975 the homestead has been part of the town of Schmallenberg.
