history

The name of the homestead, which previously belonged to Bracht, was first mentioned in a document in 1924. In 1932 a road to Rotbusch was built from Wehrscheid. Until the municipal reorganization in North Rhine-Westphalia, Rotbusch belonged to the municipality of Wormbach . Rotbusch has belonged to the town of Schmallenberg since January 1st, 1975.
