Niederhenneborn is a district of the town of Schmallenberg in North Rhine-Westphalia .
geography
Niederhenneborn is located in the Hennetal , about 1.7 km northwest of Oberhenneborn and 1.9 km southeast of Landenbeck . State road 914, which connects these two places, runs through Niederhenneborn . Another road leads to Kirchrarbach .
There is a chapel in Niederhenneborn which is dedicated to St. Luzia . A sports field of the sports club of the neighboring villages is located south of the village.
history
Niederhenneborn originally consisted of four farms. The Cordes-Hof was a free chair of the Fredeburg office and was one of its largest courts. On January 1, 1975, Niederhenneborn was incorporated into the town of Schmallenberg with the municipality of Rarbach , to which it belonged until then.
