Landenbeck is a district of Eslohe (Sauerland) in the North Rhine-Westphalian Hochsauerlandkreis .

The district is located in the east of the Eslohe community, around three kilometers east of Reiste . Landenbeck borders on the villages of Kirchilpe , Niederhenneborn , Herhagen , Sögtrop and Reiste. The hen flows through the place .

Early clues about the size can be found in an appraisal register (used to collect taxes) for the year 1543. According to this, there were 5 subject to appraisal in “Langenbecke” (Hanß Schulte, Jorgen Broeder, Thonis zu Langenbecke, Euerdt sambt his son Jost and the Dorpscheiper ); this number should have agreed with the courtyards or houses existing at that time.

In mid-2016, Landenbeck had 33 residents. The village on the L 914 belonged to the municipality of Reiste in the Eslohe district until the end of 1974 . Since January 1, 1975, Landenbeck has been part of the extended community of Eslohe. The St. Barbara Chapel from 1884 is located here.
