history
Oberhenneborn was first mentioned in a document in 1362. On May 10, 1876, a fire destroyed the church, the school and 17 houses.
The place belonged to the municipality of Rarbach until the municipal reform . On January 1, 1975, Oberhenneborn became part of the new town of Schmallenberg.
