Harley Miller
Harley Miller (born before 1942) is an American production designer who was nominated for an Oscar for best production design.
Life
Miller began his career as a production designer in the Hollywood film industry for the romantic comedy Mexican Spitfire's Elephant (1942) directed by Leslie Goodwins with Lupe Vélez , Leon Errol and Walter Reed . In the course of his career, which lasted until 1957, he was involved in the production of nearly fifty films.
At the Academy Awards in 1944 he was nominated together with Albert S. D'Agostino , Carroll Clark and Darrell Silvera for the Oscar for best production design, for the black and white film Flight for Freedom (1943). Rosalind Russell , Fred MacMurray and Herbert Marshall star in this biopic about Amelia Earhart , directed by Lothar Mendes .
