Harsh Narain

Harsh Narain (born April 23, 1921 in Bansdih ; † 1995 ) was an Indian philosopher, author and Indologist. He holds a PhD from Lucknow University and has been a professor at Benares Hindu University , Aligarh Muslim University and North Eastern Hill University .

He wrote on Buddhism, Islam, Vedanta, Bertrand Russell, Mahatma Gandhi and Muhammad Iqbal. He spoke several languages ​​including Sanskrit, Pali, Persian, Arabic, English, Hindi, and Urdu.
