Harthausen (Rettenbach)
Harthausen is a district with 345 inhabitants (2015) in the municipality of Rettenbach in the district of Günzburg in Bavaria . The previously independent community of Harthausen was incorporated into Rettenbach on July 1, 1970.
The village is about one kilometer south of Rettenbach.
history
Roman spoils have been found in the foundation of the Alexander chapel in Harthausen .
The place was first mentioned in a document in the 12th century. After frequent changes of ownership, the place went to the von Riedheim family in 1568 , who still own the castle today.
