Hartmut Pötzelberger

Hartmut Pötzelberger (born June 4, 1978 in Linz ) is an Austrian American football player.

Career

Initially he played in Division 1 for the Linz Steelers . However, his great talent soon enabled him to join the top Austrian club, the Dodge Vikings Vienna . There he was still used largely as a backup in the 2005 season, but from 2006 he was able to assert himself as a starter due to his professional attitude.

Pötzelberger played in the position of an offensive lineman . He belongs to the dreaded Keli Connection and was called up to the Austrian national team in 2007.

After the third Eurobowl triumph, he left the Dodge Vikings Vienna and played and coached for the Gmundner Rams . For professional reasons, however, he moved to the Amstetten Thunder in 2011 , where he now trains the offensive line and defensive line .
