Hatari is a free emulator for computers from the Atari ST series.

Hatari is based on the sources of the emulator WinSTon , which is only available for Windows , and the emulation core for the MC68000 - main processor from Motorola from the Amiga emulator UAE .

The current version is able to run a large number of ST software titles very reliably. The computers of the ST and STE series are supported, and the Atari TT and Atari Falcon 030 models are also emulated experimentally . In addition, graphic modes can be used with Hatari that the original Atari ST did not have.

Hatari uses the portable SDL library for graphics output and exists in versions for many different operating systems, including Linux , macOS , BSD and BeOS .
