Hato-Sablé

Hato-Sablé ( Japanese 鳩 サ ブ レ ー hato saburē , from hato " dove " and French sablé ) is a Japanese pastry from the city of Kamakura ( Kanagawa Prefecture ), which has been made there by the Toshimaya company since 1894 . Hato-sablés are shaped like a dove. They consist of flour , sugar , butter and egg and are a popular souvenir from Kamakura with tourists .
