Hatton ( Sinhala : හැටන්, Tamil : அட்டன்) is a small town of around 15,000 people in the central province of Sri Lanka . It is located in the highlands in the middle of tea plantations. The small town is around 40 km southwest of the next larger city, Nuwara Eliya .
