Main post office in Wittenberg

The main post office in Lutherstadt Wittenberg is a significant building on the edge of the historic city center at Wilhelm-Weber-Straße 1.

The building was built in 1893 in the style of historicism . On the south side of the building there is a memorial plaque in honor of the physicist Wilhelm Weber , who was born in Wittenberg in 1804. Today the building serves as a municipal post office .
