The main gate of the Leunawerke is a listed gate system in the city of Leuna in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the east side of the Leunawerke , west of the Am Haupttor square .

Architecture and history

The elaborately designed enclosure was built in the 1920s as the main entrance to the Leuna Works in the neoclassical style. The entrance area is dominated by two gatehouses and pillars.

In the local register of monuments , the enclosure is recorded as a monument under registration number 094 20793 .
