Main Association of Agricultural Book Offices and Experts
The Main Association of Agricultural Book Offices and Experts e. V. (HLBS) is a professional association of tax and business advisory professions as well as experts in agriculture based in Berlin (originally Bonn). The office was initially in Sankt Augustin near Bonn, and since July 2013 in Berlin-Mitte in the Taut-Haus at Engeldamm 70.
tasks
As a professional association, the HLBS supports the training of its members and the next generation of tax advisors with a focus on agriculture and experts for agriculture. The HLBS sees itself as the professional political representative of these two professional groups. As of 2012, around 1,600 members were organized nationwide in the HLBS.
To implement its tasks, the association operates its own specialist book publisher (HLBS Verlag GmbH) and its own training company (HLBS-Informationsdienste GmbH). The HLBS Foundation also has its own funding institution.
