House of God's Peace (July 20, 2016)

The God's Peace House is the former home of the German city architect Carl Theodor Severin , which he had built in 1823/24. Until October 31, 2015, it was used as an educational and leisure center of the Mecklenburg Community Association. V. within the Protestant Church ( regional church community ). In cooperation with the Liebenzeller Mission , church founder Christoph Scharf and his colleagues began building a church in the summer of 2010. Since November 1, 2015, the House of God has been the community center of the regional church community in Bad Doberan. It has the address Alexandrinenplatz 5 in Bad Doberan in the Rostock district .

It was Carl Theodor Severin's second house, which resembles the Prinzenpalais (small palace).

architecture

The God's Peace House is a plastered building with seven window axes with a mansard hipped roof and has a balcony with iron bars on the upper floor. This two-storey classicist building has a three-storey central projection .
