House Husen

Haus Husen is a manor house on the right side of the Ruhr in the Hörde district , Dortmund . It was built in 1830 in the classicism style. Today it is owned by the Evangelical Regional Church of Westphalia.

The medieval residential tower of Husen Castle, which is part of the complex , has been owned by the Association of Christian Scouts and Scouts of the State of Westphalia since 1984 . It is used as a state office and a youth holiday home.

The owners of the manor included the gentlemen von Husen , von Frydag , von Romberg and the Schulz family, the Kautz family.
