The Marien House is a building in Büderich , Wesel .

history

The house was built as Marien Hospital in 1866 and expanded in 1952. From 1962 to 1995 it served as a retirement home. In 1997/98 the house was converted for residential purposes. The bell of the house found a new place in 2012 in the newly built bell tower of the neighboring Gertruden chapel .

Until 1986 the nuns of the order poor servants of Jesus Christ worked here . Their common grave is in the Büderich cemetery .
