House of German Technology

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The House of German Technology in Munich was a planned National Socialist training facility of the National Socialist Association of German Technology (NSBDT). A 90,000 m² area opposite the Deutsches Museum , where the German and European patent offices are located today, was planned as the building site . The heavy riding barracks located there would have been demolished. An alternative settlement in the southeast of Munich (Schwanseestrasse) was planned for the residents. In addition to classrooms, the facility would also have included a library and exhibition rooms. The main office for technology should also be housed in the NSDAP .
