hausderjugend is a German band from Cologne around the songwriter and singer Christian Uekötter.

history

The band was formed in 2012. The debut album Forever Jetlag was released on May 29, 2015 on NRW Records . It was voted one of the best Cologne albums in 2015 by the Kölner Stadtrevue. In 2016, the band began work on their second album, Wenden in three trains . This was published by Gaucho on April 28, 2017 with the support of the Cultural Office of the City of Cologne. Since the turn of the century, hausderjugend has also appeared nationwide (including Berlin and Copenhagen). The director of the video for the title song of the album turns in three trains led Sinan Akkuş .

Both albums were produced by Ekki Maas (Ekimas) , the bassist and producer of the band Erdmöbel .
