In contrast to the imperial estate , household goods are the goods , real estate , lands as well as the financial ( tithe ) and associated sovereign privileges that were owned by a noble family in the Middle Ages and that were inherited within this family . The property of an extinct dynasty , especially since Conrad II , was regarded as an imperial property of the subsequent dynasty .
